Ernie April 14, 2008

I gave Ernie a bath today and as I was brushing his hair I decided that he would look good with a mohawk.  Well…he looked so cute that I decided to take a few natural light pictures of him.  I think he is adorable…but I don’t think he enjoyed me putting my hair gel in his hair!  I love capturing dogs on film…there is just something about their little expressions and personality that just melts my heart.

Jadon April 9, 2008

Today, I had a great shoot with a little boy named Jadon who is possibly the cutest boy that ever lived.  The point of the project was to get some good images in the studio to build a portfolio for future modeling/acting jobs.  I think it was a success!

baby! April 8, 2008

I had a 2 month old baby in my studio today and she was absolutely adorable.  Here are a couple of the pictures from the session.  I’m trying to get as many babies into my photography studio as I possibly can, I have all of my friends and family out there recruiting people for me.  I love to photograph infants, and I’m trying to photograph as many as I can so that I can really find my style.  They say babies are hard to photograph, but as long as you have a lot of patience and a baby that’s not hungry, you should get some great shots.  My dream is to have a natural light studio, specifically for photographing babies…my dream might just come true this summer, I’ll keep you posted.

Amazing Storm April 2, 2008

As I was organizing some of my images today, I came across a picture that I took when I was in Santa Fe last summer.  The sunsets there are unlike anything you have ever seen before, but the night I took this picture there was an unbelievable storm that made the sky look like it was on fire.  Just in case you are wondering…I did not do a single thing to this image in photoshop. _mg_2478web.jpg
